Applications for payment
Measured, priced against the contract and submitted with backup, every month, on time.
For main contractors and subcontractors
Many contractors run good sites without an in-house quantity surveyor. The money is then lost on paper: applications that are easy to cut, variations without records, final accounts that settle low. We fix the paper side.

The problem
Not on site. In the documents that follow the work, one month at a time.
An application without measurement or backup gives the other side an easy reason to cut it.
Work instructed verbally and never priced on the day is hard to recover months later on.
Notices run to contract dates. A missed date can decide the sum, whatever the work was worth.
Where the record is thin, the account settles at whatever the other side is willing to pay.
Services
Measured, priced against the contract and submitted with backup, every month, on time.
Each change is valued when it happens, with the instruction and the clause attached to it.
We check whether a notice was valid and in time, and draft the response where it was not.
Built from the record kept during the job, then negotiated on evidence rather than goodwill.
We prepare the commercial case and stand behind it through negotiation or adjudication.
Quantities and subcontract packages checked before you commit, so the margin survives.
Timing
Quantities and the risk sitting in the documents.
Payment and change terms, read before you sign.
Applications prepared, variation record kept current.
The notice checked and answered inside the time.
The final account closed, or a stalled one rescued.
How we work
You tell us the job, the contract and where it is stuck.
We confirm in writing what we do, what we do not, and the fee.
Contract, drawings, instructions and site records in one file.
Applications, variations and notices handled on contract dates.
The account assembled from that file, not rebuilt afterwards.

What you get
Terms
When we act for a contractor, we act for the contractor only. We never advise the employer or the lender on the same project, and we confirm that before we start.
Monthly support is a fixed monthly fee. A single piece of work, one final account or one adjudication, is a fixed sum or a day rate, agreed in writing beforehand.
We can, for firms that do not need one full-time. Or we add senior capacity alongside your team on a difficult job.
Yes. Many instructions start late. The earlier we see the record, the more of it can still be used.
Yes, on the same basis as main contractors, with the same monthly cycle.
JCT and NEC forms, and bespoke contracts. We read the contract first, because the money follows its terms.
Yes, across the United Kingdom. Site attendance is set by the job and the payment cycle.
